Winter Day Camps at Camp Brewster

wintercampsmallFontenelle Forest welcomes you to a winter adventure of discovery where the quiet wild of nature offers an unparalleled opportunity for your child to learn. Winter Day Camps feature learning through play and are taught by FF’s year-round professional educators. Our staff is committed to providing your child with high quality, positive experiences. Whether your child creates a work of art, discovers a new world on a hike, or learns a new skill, we’re sure that they will bring home memories and knowledge that will last a lifetime.

For 2014, we have a half day camp on December 22nd and three full days of camp on December 29, 30 and 31. Register for one day.. or all of them!

Camps are for children currently in 1st through 8th grade. Proof of age is required. Member discounts will be applied before checkout.


Half-Day Camp

Drop your campers off for a fun half day of camp so you can finish up your last minute shopping and preparations. We will spend our time making projects, hiking, playing games, and listening to stories. A snack will be provided.
$25 for members / $35 for non-members

Full-Day Camps

Sign up for Winter Camp at Fontenelle Forest. Spend the day hiking, playing games, creating art, reading and listening to stories, making new friends, and exploring. Our outdoor activities will depend on the weather, we will spend some time outside each day. Please be sure to pack extra socks and mittens in case we get to play in the snow! Pack a lunch and we will bring the snacks.
$50 for members / $60 for non-members per day

Nature Discovery Summer Day Camps

2014logosFontenelle Forest welcomes you to a summer of discovery and learning in a place where the quiet wild of nature offers an unparalleled opportunity for your child to learn. Nature Discovery Day Camps feature science based learning through play taught by a combination of Fontenelle Forest's year-round professional educators and summer staff who are college students or graduates. All have experience working with children in an outdoor setting, are enthusiastic, energetic, love children and have passed background checks. Camp staff complete a one-week training session and have current CPR and First Aid certifications. Our staff is committed to providing your child with high quality, positive experiences. Whether your child canoes the Great Marsh, takes a low ropes course challenge or builds a kite, we're sure that they will bring home memories and knowledge that will last a lifetime.

Multiple enrollment discount:
When you enroll a child for more than one camp, you will receive a $5 discount on each additional camp for that child.

Cancellation policy:
A $40 administrative fee is charged on any cancellations with the balance refunded. Cancellations within five business days of the camp receive no refund.

Changing camps policy:
A $25 fee is charged per camper per camp if a session change is requested after we've received your registration.

Financial Assistance:
Fontenelle Forest provides a limited number of scholarships for our camps through the Bob Starr Memorial Scholarship Fund. For information about these scholarships, please call Deborah Woracek at 402-731-3140 x 1016. Scholarships will be awarded after April 1, 2014, and recipients will be placed in an age-appropriate camp, if space is available.
