Field Trips

Educators: Please Provide Feedback From Your Visit!

Book your next field trip with Fontenelle Nature Association! Our experienced educators will provide an engaging, hands-on program for your group. Each program includes an indoor and outdoor portion. To register for a school program for the 2011/2012 school year, please contact the FNA Education Department at (402) 731-3140. For directions to the nature centers, click here.

Once you have booked a field trip, be sure to take advantage of the activities provided below. These activities will greatly enhance your students' field trip experience - and they're a lot of fun!

Nature-on-the-Go

New! Nature-on-the-Go traveling programs take hands-on natural science programs straight to your classroom. During the one hour, indoor programs, your students will explore a variety of topics. Click here to download our Nature-on-the-Go registration form.

Educator Trunks

FNA educator trunks are filled with resource books, activity guides and artifacts surrounding the trunk's theme. For $25, you may rent one of these trunks for two weeks. You might consider partnering with another teacher or home-schooled family to share a trunk. The individual checking out the trunk is responsible for pick-up and drop-off.
