Millard Observatory at Neale Woods 14323 Edith Marie Avenue Omaha, NE 68112
Check out the Millard Observatory at Neale Woods, the largest public observatory in the Omaha metro area. Astronomy nights are generally held twice per month from August through May. Led by trained staff and volunteers, FNA's astronomy programs are designed to introduce adults and children (over age 5) to the wonders of the night sky. Your evening under the stars includes gathering on the observation deck to see the constellations visible and peering through the telescopes to see planets, nebulae and more! If cloudy conditions prevent sky viewing, an indoor presentation is offered.
