Mary Lou Alfieri will lead you into insect investigations: Everything you wanted to know about insects, even the most freighting facts.
August 28
Rachel Legonou will have interactive discovery kits for you to find out more about the natural world. Handle artifacts and play games as you learn about anything from birds to deer.
Sept. 4
-Permimeter hike with Bob Goetchkes. Hike is appx. 8 miles bring water and dress accordingly. Recommended for ages 14+ and intermediate or better hikers. Leaves at 10 a.m.

12:30-1:30 p.m. at Fontenelle Forest Nature Center Habitiat Hollow. Free for FNA members or with admission. Geared toward younger children, must be accompanied by an adult.

Wild Wednesdays
This exciting parent-child class offers discovery centers to engage your children in nature through various learning styles. An educator-led outdoor portion is offered during each program. Snacks provided.

Admission: $2/FNA member child, $3/non-member child
