Day Light Flap Shack

Light bulbs use about half of our nation's electricity. Within the Day Light Flap Shack, guests can pull on ropes to open side flaps that let natural light in! Be sure to watch the electric lights dim down and turn off automatically as the natural daylight fills the room.

Crazy Crates

With Crazy Crates, children and adults can generate power by pedaling on stationary bikes. The average rider will produce between 125-200 watts using pedal power. While this may seem insignificant, 200 watts can last for hours or days using LED (light emitting diodes) or high efficiency fluorescent lighting.
